في ظل الازمة الاقتصادية الخانقة التي تمر بها البلاد وبهدف المحافظة على استمرار عمل المرافق العامة الاساسية ولا سيما قطاع الاتصالات تم تقديم مادة المازوت الى سنترال أوجيرو الذي يخدم منطقة بنت جبيل، بمتابعة من اتحاد بلديات قضاء بنت جبيل وبالتعاون مع جمعية العمل البلدي مما ادى الى المحافظة على تقديم الخدمات بشكل عادي للاهالي.
