في إطار استقبالاته الأسبوعية في قصر المختارة، التقى تيمور جنبلاط رئيس الإتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم رئيس "فيفا" العالمي جياني إنفانتينو، يرافقه الأمين العام للإتحاد اللبناني لكرة القدم جهاد الشحف، بحضور النائب أكرم شهيب.
وقد أعرب انفانتينو عن سعادته بالتعرف إلى "تيمور جنبلاط الزعيم الشاب والمشجع الرياضي"، وسروره لوجوده "في لبنان وفي هذا الموقع الخلاب في الشوف".
وأكّد أنّه يعمل "بصورة مستمرة لمصلحة كرة القدم"، وأنّ "لبنان فيه الكثير من مشجعي هذه الرياضة وأعتقد أنّه من الممتاز أن أكون هنا".
